the food was way too salty for me but it tasted good gravy was just to salty
Great food. Reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive waitress.
Very tasty biscuits, extremely happy with everything we ordered. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I ordered the "AJ" from the biscuit menu
Came in here Sunday before heading to Tampa after being recommended to come here. There was a five minute wait which really is not bad considering I’ve waited longer for places for breakfast. We sat down and our waitress was friendly and sweet. The coffee here is the best place in Homosassa I’ve had so far. I know it sounds silly to say but when a place has good coffee I know it cant be to bad. We got our food. I got the breakfast burrito and my boyfriend got a Mexican omelette. Both were great, a lot of cheese in the burrito but not to much that I didn’t want to finish it just more than I thought. The biscuit is huge! I wasn’t expecting that. So if you order it be prepared for that. It was good. I thought it would be buttermilk but its sadly not. Overall this place is a pretty good gem in area, and the prices are great.
I really thought this place was going to be good by the reviews. And I have to say it’s pretty bland. The sausage biscuit and gravy I got, wasn’t good. It was all cold. The biscuit, cold. The gravy not well seasoned and less than Luke warm. The eggs my bf order, scrambled, umm yeah looked like cartoon eggs. And even tasted fake. The home fries looked frozen and not fresh and also weren’t the greatest tasting. The waitress sure wasn’t worried about getting us refills. We had to flag her down. Over all not impressed. Won’t return.
Great food. Employees and owner have no idea we are in a pandemic. Talking over tables no masks only onr watress
Great place for breakfast. Great service and great prices. Very generous portions.
The Biscuit Barn is a local favorite, not looking much like the sort of restaurant a tourist might select, and no "designer" menu, but if you enjoy homemade vittles in generous quantities, particularly for breakfast and lunch, you come on in, you hear! There is plenty of off street parking, most of it not paved. All sit down dining with wait service at both tables and the counter. I have uploaded pictures of the entire menu along with 4 of the breakfast menu items. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal. It's not the cheapest breakfast place and it is far from being the most expensive; it's not a $ or a $$ in price. It's more like a $++. Wait staff was very friendly. They accept Master Card and Visa and cash only; Diners Club, AMEX and Discover aren't accepted because the merchant fees are too high for the small businesses. The bacon was so tasty; thick cut, not too salty, maybe with some maple or honey in it? Mmm mmm!
We were going over to the state park and decided to give this little spot a try. The full parking lot and all the people waiting was encouraging that we had found a good spot. The wait wasn't long to be seated and we were greeted very quickly by a cheerful and smiling server. We told her it was our first time in and she shared that it was her second day. (We would never have known, she was great!) Our food came in a timely manner and was just what we were looking for. Hubby had a "skillet" and I had the Biscuit Barn breakfast. We will be back.
Awesome down home cooking. Food is always hot, fresh, and yummy. Great staff is always professional and friendly. I recommend this lil spot for anyone looking for a great bite to eat!
Art used the shutdown to give the place a makeover and it shows! Interior looks much better, food is super and Art is a great guy.
Best breakfast in the area love my people here
Food perfectly cooked and plenty Oscar it. Coffee is good too!
They serve a very good breakfast with lots of choices!
Great food and great service! Will definitely be back!
The omelets are what really get me but their whole menu is pretty tasty looking
Service and food was amazing top to bottom
They put us beside the bathrooms which smelled like urine and feces it is beyond me why they would put a table there but we will not return the sweet tea is not even sweet so I don’t recommend won’t come back
This is a great little diner, the food is amazing and a lot of it. Friendly server's and atmosphere is down home. You have to try to see for yourself.
Good homey breakfast spot 👌😍
Excellent food served quickly and with a smile. Very reasonably priced.
Friendly staff, great food and reasonable pricing. Only gripe is the place is tiny!
My son said it was the best biscuits & gravy he’d ever had. I had them add onions & peppers to my home fries and that made them very tasty. Cheap prices, great service & very good food.
A local took me here and wow. Had the Farmers Breakfast and it was delicious. They have an excellent biscuit and the sausage gravy was phenomenal. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service.
Delicious... love this place. This was a wonderful find!
Came from out of town and was looking for a mom and pop breakfast... LOOK NO FURTHER. The best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Great food. Great service. Will definitely be stopping here every time we come to town.
Cute little hole in the wall. Good prices, good portions, amazing biscuits. Service is quick and the staff is very friendly!
Ist time there. Food was amazing and portions are big. Servers are so nice
If you don't eat the biscuit here you are not a breakfast person. Everything else is great. Love the Pork chops with eggs sunny side up. In our family a Sunday morning favourite. Word of warning on the large stack pancakes.... Bring your appetite.
I am the owner of the Biscuit Barn locations. We have sold the Homosassa location and it is now called Art's Diner. It is keeping the same commitment to great service, quality food as the Biscuit Barn. We are still open in Crystal River Location 1960 NW US highway 19 come see us. Thanks
Food was good. Pancakes are huge!! A little tight on the seating though.
Good food low price great service.
Best biscuit of my life. Great prices too. For $0.99 you can get it smothered in gravy. Suuuper worth it.
Great little breakfast spotSuper nice waitresses Food is always perfectly cookedAmazing biscuitsAlways crowdedThe one in Crystal River is awesome as well
Love the food everything is great lots. Of food the biscuit.barn is the best in all of citrus county
Came into town for the weekend for some fishing. This was the closest place and boy what a gem we found. We will be bank here every time we come into town. The biscuits are the size of your hand. Fresh, delicious, and piled high. Costs are well under what they should be for the amount of food. New favorite!
Fantastic experience. Walked in and we were greeted by the very friendly owner. Service was excellent and the food was perfect. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!!!
Wonderful small diner with some of the best biscuits I've ever had. Prices are extremely low for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend
What a great place. Go where the waitresses remember your name. Amazing food. Even better cinnamon rolls. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. It's in the south end of a strip mall across from the campers. It gets busy in the mornings so go early or a little later. Can only imagine what it will be like when the snowbirds all get here.
A lot of food for the money. Had the country fried steak and eggs. Just bland and soggy. Will try something different and reevaluate.
My bf and I saw a photo of some food from Art’s on social media about 9 months ago and put it on our list of places to eat.We got up early today and made the hour plus drive from downtown Tampa, through a tropical storm and everything, and we could not have been happier. The service was outstanding. We didn’t have to wait at all for a table and only waited a short time for our food.Everything we got was outstanding. We ordered a biscuit sandwich, an omelet with hashbrowns, okra and a biscuit with gravy. We loved every bite and will absolutely come back.
Good quality food. Its served hot, fresh and fast. Seating can be awkward at times. Overall, the best food citrus county has to offer.
Awesome, super friendly management/staff, service and food. Feels like an old style hometown eating and gathering place. I strongly recommend it all around!
Only in town for 36 hrs and ate there twice. We used to live there and went a couple times a week. We really miss the family atmosphere, the loyal clientele, the very friendly waitresses and kitchen help. This is the kind of place that actually calls you by name when you come in, just like CHEERS. If you haven't tried it yet, you are definitely missing something.
great breakfast, fast, friendly and very reasonable prices!
Never had a bad meal! Always great, friendly and never walk away unhappy this place is amazing!
Wonderful breakfast! Wait staff was friendly and the food was great. Get there early because by the time we left there was a 15 minute wait.
Delicious and flavorful local eatery. Biscuit Barn has earned a very positive reputation for serving up delicious foods. Almost famous for their light, fluffy, and filling homemade scratch biscuits !! Many other items available from their full menu. They maximized space inside, but can be very busy at times.
Good breakfast and price. Really Fast service
Great Customer service, Fast food delivery. Fair Pricing.
